Vintage Skaters Christmas Card with Dazzling Diamonds

I started this card with several challenges for inspiration, the first being a sketch.

The vintage image is Stampin’ Up – Winter Post, as is the sentiment without the word Christmas – from Word Play.  Most of the supplies are SU as well: dsp-Everyday Enchantment, chocolate chip cs and satin ribbon, cs tangerine tango & pool party, watercolor pencils, Dazzling Diamonds,  border punch, orange eyelets. I stamped the images with Cactus Green Stazon. The skaters are punched out, mounted on a die cut of blue, covered with Versamark, Heat & Stick, then Dazzling Diamonds.  The sentiment is die cut, edged with pencil and mounted on chocolate chip cs and popped up.  More die cuts are on the corners from a Provo Craft die and the scalloped circle in green is a Nestability .

  1. Beautiful card Joyce, great colours. To be considered for the prize or top 3 you must remove the sketch from your blog though as per the challenge rules 🙂 Thanks for joining us at CCWS this time. Carol DT x
