Christmas Greeting on a Starry Night

I designed this final Christmas card for April (a day late) around the following challenges.

I played “Bingo” at Christmas Inspirations #45 with 1. Distressing, 2. Sentiment, and 3. Trees.  I have a border punch for Christmas Card Challenges  #22 and a jumbo metal eyelet for “H” is for Hardware at ABC Christmas.  (But, alas, I am too late to enter that one.)  However, ANYTHING GOES at Stampin All Year Long #8. j-4628xmasApr05

Here’s how it went together. The navy card was silver embossed with the Rubber Stampede stamp. Stampin’ Up Lovely As a Tree was stamped in Night of Navy on confetti white, distressed, and mounted on the Fiskars punched confetti red cs.  The tag has SU stamps from Winter Post and Occasional Quotes sets in N of N and Cranberry Crisp inks, distressed and mounted on a piece of red.  Punched a hole with SU’s tool kit and inserted as SU jumbo eyelet.  I tied on a piece of Michael’s ribbon before popping it up on the card.  I had fun designing this one, hope you enjoy it and find some inspiration.

  1. Wonderful work! Loved the red, blue and white color combination. Thanks for joining us at Christmas Inspirations challenges. Hope to see you playing again with us soon.

  2. I love your embossing. This is one of my favorite sets, Lovely as a Tree. I can’t believe they haven’t retired this one yet. Yeah, another year to go with this set!
