Baby Girl

Sketches in Thyme Blogspot

If you are like me, you welcome a good sketch for starting a layout (or a card, or any crafty idea). Today I’m sharing a page a made of our newest baby girl and some family photos turned into a memory page using a sketch from Sketches in Thyme blogspot. I used a Kaisercraft pad for the base papers and layers, fussy cut the butterflies from some Prima paper.

Hope you come by the blog and play when you have time!

Today is my birthday and I am looking forward to becoming one with my craft room for a little while! I have all necessities purchased for Thanksgiving diner so I have a little time to relax and craft something. I even put away some previous layouts I had stacked up. I keep adding completed pages to Iris cases for 2018 and 2019. Currently I’ve filled 2 for ’18 and have a really stuffed one for ’19. Those aren’t in albums yet because I do not scrap chronologically. This morning I moved pages around in the 2017 albums to squeeze in two. Not too hard because I’ve gone to the We R Memory Keepers D-ring albums.

Wishing you all a blessed Thanksgiving! Know that I count all of you to stop by to take a peek at my blog from time to time as a blessing, too.

Two Days Old

My sweet great granddaughter!

I drew my inspiration for this layout from “Let’s Get Sketchy” for the sketch and from “A Cherry on Top” challenges for using washi tape. This is also entered on Facebook for the RG Avenue Community challenge to use one of there sentiments, which I used as my title

This is the first Baby Page I’ve made with this pack of Kaisercraft. Not the first page I made with the photos of this precious new baby girl, because I had lost this pack – for a few months now. Crazy. Just found it yesterday I am relived to announce.

As you will notice I used the paper pattern as my upper right triangle in the sketch. It is so pretty. My washi tape strips are vertical rather than vertical. The flowers are colored with Spectrum Noir pencils and fussy cut. Hum, just noticed I forgot to paste down the word sticker in the upper left of the photo. Hopefully the “Sketch Challenge Police” won’t arrest me. I may have to add it because now all I see is that missing piece.

so, thanks for taking a peek at my page. Hope you check out the challenges and get scrapping your own memories with your dear photos. Be save, you are one of God’s precious people!
