Vintage Christmas Card with Tags

This vintage card, stamped with stamps from the Fun Stampers Journey “Winter Wonderland” set SS-0093, started with a scalloped card.  Even with the dangling tags, it folds up nicely for mailing.

First I rubbed FSJ Lovely Blue ink all over the center, sponged in Beach Ball, then edged with Huckleberry Fusion. The scene is heat embossed. The edge work was created by stamping the tip of the stamp where the tree is with Versamark and applying Fron-tage Aged Ivory powder and using the heat gun underneath to melt.   The FSJ wooden star is painted with silver Silk.  The deer is stamped with Hazelnut Blend, the sentiment with Huckleberry Fusion.  You can just see the spatter of silver FSJ Silk.

For the challenge at Left of Center.  Please check out the fun entries on this blog.

  1. Great circle card, love how you have it to swing up for putting in an envelope! Great idea! love those stamps and your blue sponging! Thank you for playing in the LOC challenge of no Rectangle or Square cards.
