Wandering Shades of Lavender Blue

I made this card for this month’s Unity [Be inspired} challenge. Here is the sketch I followed.

As I was going through the Unity stamps looking for the perfect sentiment to fit the sketch I saw the gorgeous swirls with a bird cage. This sentiment fit not only the space but the feeling of the other image. Wandering is good, creates all kinds of expression in our life that we can reflect on, learn from, and simply enjoy. And we never have to feel lost, all we have to do is look to where ever home is, usually where someone we love is waiting for us at the end of the day.

Here are the two sets I used.  “Be Brave…Branch out”    and    “Delightful Little Things”

This color combo just came together.  I usually go more for brights but when I decided I wanted the turquoise embossing powder the only other color I felt was the right choice was the lavender for accent. I heat embossed the swirls on confetti sand with the turquoise, then pale lavender ep for the sentiment. The two embossing folders added just enough texture, while keeping a quiet feeling to the card.

Thanks for stopping in for a look, I hope you found a bit of inspiration for your creative mind to wander through. Comments are welcomed, as always, they add bring thought for me to ponder.
