Oh, Snap! It’s a Photo Op

I took advantage of an opportunity to take pictures of Kris posing by the fabric display. DSCN9455_ohsnapKris

She is wearing the pants I made from the Tim Holtz fabric, and her bag is visible near her feet in the photo.THpantsDSCF0420

The fabric has a nice feel, it’s quilt shop quality.  Unfortunately Joann’s has it priced too high, which is where I picked mine up, but one can use a coupon of course.  I’ve seen it on line with a wider selection.  Obviously it is for sale at Whim So Doodle shop in St. Petersburg.

My scrap page is 6 x 6 for the shop hop album.  The base paper is Pink Paislee. All the stamping is done with Unity stamps.  I started working on the bg with a stamp called “Splatter it”, heat embossed it with powder I bought on the hop, called “Aged Ivory” from Stampendous.  That fabulous swirl is from the “Now & Always” set, colored with markers.  I used some word stamps from various sets and the “oh, snap” set with the delightful camera.  The camera was colored with markers. I liked the bit of bling the sequined arrow from Heidi Swapp brought to the page.

I followed the scrapbook layout sketch from the Unity {be inspired} challenge.

Thanks for stopping by, hope you like my page and maybe you will feel inspired to play with this sketch too!

I am also linking this up for Unity’s Friends with Flair!

  1. Great job on this page, I am loving all of those Unity stamps you have used! Especially the camera one! I found you through Unity’s Friends with Flair.
