Clocks and Cogs, Flowers and Swirls

With the holidays being upon us, that means less time to play.  I’m preparing turkey dinner today and look forward to some quite time in the craft room with DD.

j-8923_inspireWanted to show you the card I finished last night.  It is a CASE of a card from the Featured Stamper’s gallery on Splitcoast found here.  I really loved how my background turned out.  I used a wheel stamp – Fresh Vintage.  It is rolled with versamark and clear embossed.  The I stippled and sponged Baked Brown Sugar over it.  I stamped with Chocolate Chip and rubbed over it to clear it off the clear embossed image.  Then I had fun building a collage of images from at least 4 different stamp sets.  I used a Sizzix die for the swirl, Spellbinder for the bottom clock and Stampin’ Up! punches. I love my Stampin’ Up! inks and stamps!

I wish you all a happy Thanksgiving, full of wonderful, happy moments to share with loved ones.  I hope you enjoy your day with lots of good food and time to craft!

UPDATE: This card was selected for the “Favorites for week ending Dec.1” on Splitcoast.
