Even More Scrapping Layout

Following a sketch is always better, and this sketch by Cheryl has been made beautifully for following exactly.  She provides the measurements for the pieces which makes it so easy to get the look without having to guess what size will fit. Here is the sketch:

Because this sketch is set up so well I didn’t add any embellishments – the patterns and the design of the layout itself looks great as is.DSCN8544_edited-1

The background paper is Pink Paislee. Most everything else is Stampin’ Up!  The hearts are punched with SU.  The Cranberry Crisp (a very old In Color) goes exceptionally well with the new Crisp Cantaloupe – none of the pinks worked as well.  The titles and journaling were computer generated.  Although the events pictured here are different, the design of the layout brings them all together nicely.

At Melbourne Beach Leia was experimenting with the puddle of sand.  It was as if she was figuring out how the mix of water and sand worked.  One thing, though, when she realized her hands were sandy she had to go rinse them off.  And then get right back into the mix.

On the right we see her doing pull ups, sliding, and rock climbing at Mt. Trashmore’s playground.  Little Nia looks on as Leia climbs.  At the beach in VaBch Leia goes surfing on the play things while Grandma takes her photo.  At the Lynnhaven Mall Leia seems to take a break and hang out with this friendly critter.

Surprisingly no stamping here!
