First Thanksgiving Card of the Year

This little girl is from Dover Publishing Collection of vintage advertising cards using children.  With her harvest of apples,  I felt this would be a sweet Thanksgiving greeting.

The Perfect Sentiment Blog Challenge is to use at least 3 layers.  My 1st is the Tangerine Tango that is border punched. Next is the striped, which I believe is from DCWV – it was in my scrap bin.  Then the off green under the main panel, cut with Spellbinders Nestibilites larger than the main print, is Stampin’ Up!, an older DSP from my stash.

For the sentiment, I used three stamp sets from SU, one is the frame, the words, and the leaves.  The leaves are hand cut, the sentiment base is a SU punch.

Maybe I can get some Halloween cards finished (oh my!).
