Here is the layout I did for a challenge at Let’s Scrap. Requirements were to use one photo, washy tape, chevrons, 1 handmade flower, inks/paints and spatters all over the page. I started with Sahara Sand 12 x 12 card stock, and with a Heidi Swapp hexagon stencil I strayed, painted and dabbed. Then came the stamps, I spritzed the heart, doodled around it, and pasted down some baker’s twine. More baker’s twine went around the entire page too. I made the title with Stampin’ Up’s Word Play alpha set, punched with the hexagon punch. The handmade flower was quite fun, did it from a tutorial Ada shared with us at Let’s Scrap. I used lots of product here, even a mat of organza and a bit of heart-shaped lace.
This sweet chick is Moon Goddess. Here she is happy after fluffing herself in the sand. There are tiny grains of sand all in her feathers. I don’t know why the chickens enjoy playing in the sand, but they sure do. In this photo she is about a month old.
Thanks for stopping by for a look today.
