Sending a Spring Chickie

I utilized a sketch from Freshly Made Sketches as my starting point.  The SU! Medallion stamp is heat embossed on a die cut kraft paper.  The sweet chickie is from Robin’s Fetish. I received this digi because I am playing in the Secret Easter Card Swap at The Crafter’s Café.  My chickie is colored with Copics.  I made a faux postage piece to embellish this card.  I got the idea from Splitcoast Stampers, there is a tutorial there.  I ended up making my own in Publisher so I could have the “46 USA” where I wanted it. I cut an opening out of some clear template plastic, stamped the chick (from Sarasota Stamp) and the grass (from SU!), and sponged inside the edges.  The chick is Yo-yo Yellow and the edge sponging is Lucky Limeade.  My flowers (from SU!) are stamped in More Mustard on glimmer white paper from Recollections and punched out, SU! pearls are added.  Flowers and (SU! daffodil) ribbon are pasted over a die cut of a swirl that I inked with Limeade.

Here’s my challenges.

Happy Campers Craft Challenge #11 – use a favorite stamp – I love using the little flowers to embellish when ever I can, of course that medallion stamp is gorgeous anytime I need a great background.

Addicted to Stamps Challenge #50 – use kraft

Hiding In My Craft Room #85 – Embossing

The Perfect Sentiments Challenge #67 – Floral Fantasia
