A Friendship Puppy Card

This card is the result of some challenges today.  On Splitcoast Stampers I selected one of MaryR197’s cards from her gallery for inspiration.  Keeping in mind The Perfect Sentiment’s challenge to make a friendship card using a “furry animal”, I made this friendly little card suitable for anybody really, but extra nice for the men and boys who need to be reminded of friendship.

The card base is “confetti sand” from Fox River.  Lt. blue is Wausau, with a new SU! embossing folder “Vines”.

I don’t know where that piece of off white card stock came from.  I stamped it in Bordering Blue ink with stamps from SU!’s “Notes & Details” set.

The edge, as are all the other shapes, is an SU! punch.  The grosgrain blue ribbon is SU!

The little tail waging puppy is a stamp from Stampendious and colored with SU! watercolor pencils.  The patterned paper behind the sentiment is SU! DSP.

That’s about all there is – not a fancy or complicated design, but functional and sweet, don’t you think?
