Beware the Treachery–Art of Arthur Rackham

I bought a book of 24 art cards from Dover Publishing containing this perfect piece for the PoisonedPeas challenge #3.  The challenge theme is “Wicked Step-Mother” but we can make a card with any wicked woman.  In this illustration Rackham depicts how the j-4826bewaresailors see the treachery of the sea when it’s alluring call turns against them.

Supplies used:

dylusions stencil with alcohol inks and Fiskars circle template and cutter

Strip of Graphic45 striped cs

Purple Stampin’ Up cs cut with Spellbinder die and TH Ranger Distress ink

two flowers are Always Artichoke cs and SU punch, centered with a punch of scrap cs

alphabet stamp set was stamped in Artichoke ink

I see this note card being used for a few different occasions.  Especially for a guy since it’s not very frilly.  On the inside one could write a warning for being missed, for example.
