An Easter card that spoke to me of the old song about an Easter bonnet kept playing around in my head and I had to get it out. This card came as the result of a few challenges. I started with the colors offered by the Perfect Sentiments challenge #23. The players are asked to use at least 3 of the colors from this “color story” to make an Easter card. This “fashionista”, sporting her new Spring bonnet, is stamped on white, colored with SU markers and cut out. She is from the Stampin’ Up! “Going out in Style” set. The Pomegranate panel has the “Millenary” wheel white embossed, matted with “Baja Breeze”. The sentiment is stamped from the hostess set “Something to Celebrate”. For metal I stapled two ribbons – Purely Pomegranate and Marina Mist. Two different SU embossing folders were used on the background whites. The word art at the bottom is cut from the Cricut cartridge “Forever Young”.
Here are the other fun challenges used for this card.
