A Card in Curry and Pear

“Crushed Curry” and “Pear Pizzaz” card stock from Stampin’ Up that is!  DSCN3571

This close-up shows the details of how I stamped the three circles.

1. DSP stamped in black

2. Pear stamped in Cajun Craze

3. white stamped Always Artichoke

I stamped the flowers under the big circle and the embellishment flowers, as well as the background flower for the three panels in Summer Sun.  The cycle is stamped in Sahara Sand.  I used markers to stamped the flowers on the 3 panels and to accent the three flowers.  The rest of the details should be visible for you.

I actually followed a challenge sketch in Take Ten magazine, although I will not be submitting this card to them.  It’s not exactly a 10 minute card.  I got carried away and really like the results.

  1. This is soooooo pretty, Joyce! I can relate to getting carried away! There are always 10 more things we could do.

Your Christmas card is so beautiful. I wish I weren’t so averse to using my sewing machine! Your results are always stunning!! My best to you and Kris!! Hugs, Ree
